The project generally consists of extending a sidewalk approximately 350’, re-establishing positive
stormwater drainage, constructing an ADA boarding and alighting pad, and a reinforced shelter pad
at one of Spokane Transits existing bus stops just east of the intersection of E. Indiana and N.
Pines Rd. in Spokane Valley.
Use of DBE/MBE/WBE/MWBE contractors and suppliers is encouraged but not mandatory.
Contractors submitting bids may contact the Washington State Office of Minority and Women’s
Business Enterprise to obtain information on certified firms.
The minimum prevailing wage provisions of Washington state law or Federal Davis Bacon Act,
whichever is greater, as well as federal wage provisions apply to this federally funded project
including but not limited to certified payroll submittal.
The Owner reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids and to waive minor informalities in
the process.
No contractor submitting may withdraw their bids after hour set for opening thereof unless contract
award is delayed for a period exceeding ninety (90) days.
