INVITATION TO BID
The Town of Wilbur is requesting bids for the reconstruction of Broadway Street and Railroad Avenue. Bids will be
received at P.O. Box 214, 14 NW Division Street, Wilbur, WA 99185, until 3:00 pm on April 3, 2019. Bids will be
opened and read publicly immediately following the close of bid receipt. No late or faxed bids will be accepted.
A pre-bid conference for this project will be held at 1:00 pm on March 27, 2019 at Wilbur Town Hall.
The project includes the removal of existing asphalt, pulverizing, cement treatment of the base soils, paving,
sidewalks, curbs, gutters, ADA ramps, stormwater facilities and striping. The approximate cost of construction is
$500,000.

Bid must be submitted on the forms provided with the Contract Documents. A 5% bid bond will be required. 100%
performance and payment bonds will be required from the successful contractor. The contractor must be capable of
meeting all insurance and bonding requirements.
This project is funded by the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board (TIB), and is subject to all
applicable state laws and regulations. All work performed on this project will be subject to Washington State
prevailing wage rates.
The Town of Wilbur reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, and in its sole judgment,
accept the bid which it deems is in its best interest.
