875 Perimeter Drive, MS 2281, Box 442281, Moscow, Idaho 83844-2281until 2:00 pm local time, on
Thursday, May 09, 2019 for DPW Project 19255, University of Idaho Menard Law Building Repair
and Renovation of East Entry Steps and Planters, University of Idaho, Moscow, Idaho.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include removal of the existing concrete
stairs, landing, and portion of planters on the east side of the Menard Law Building. New work includes
installation of a new concrete plaza with paver accent, walkway, concrete stairs, handrails, guardrail,
planters and pilasters with masonry veneer/accent and pre-cast caps. The work includes repointing
deteriorated mortar joints, replacing deteriorated and missing mortar, repair and replacement of existing
masonry. The work includes new benches, landscaping, irrigation, and replacement of two pedestrian

time, at the Menard Law Building the meeting will start at UI Facilities, 875 Perimeter Drive – Seven
Devils Conference Room, Moscow, Idaho. Bidders are encouraged to attend.
One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and
electrical subcontractors from the plan holder list above.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public
Works Contractor’s License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
