specifications may also be viewed at local and regional plan centers.
The project generally consists of constructing a park-and-ride facility at the NE corner of the 57th
Avenue/Palouse Highway intersection. This facility will include parking, passenger boarding and alighting
areas, an operations support building, and trails.
The installation of new transit shelters and passenger amenities and technology will be performed under a
separate procurement with Spokane Transit. Installation work will occur in the spring of 2020. Temporary
measures will be implemented as part of this contract to support transit operations upon completion of this
project and prior to shelter and passenger amenity installations.
The minimum prevailing wage provisions for Washington State law apply to this project. Use of
DBE/MBE/WBE/MWBE contractors and suppliers is encouraged but not mandatory. Contractors
submitting bids may contact the Washington State Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprise to
obtain information on certified firms.
The Owner reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids and to waive minor informalities in the
