PROJECT INFORMATION
Notice to Bidders: Qualified bidders may submit bids for project as described in this Document.
Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders.
Project Identification: Vera Water & Power Vehicle / Storage Shop Addition.
1. Project Location: 601 N. Evergreen Road, Spokane Valley, WA 99037.
Owner: Vera Water and Power.
1. Owner’s Representative: Kevin Wells
Project Description: Project consists of a new pre-engineered metal building and concrete slab
with five (5) vehicle parking bays, a pre-engineered mezzanine, overhead doors and clerestory wall
translucent panels. The building project is an addition to the existing vehicle maintenance building
to the north. All concrete slabs are sloped to a trench drain with an oil, water and debris separator.
The total building addition square footage shall be 4,270 square feet with a 1,187 square feet
mezzanine. See Sheet G-001 of the Contract Documents for additional general project information.
BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING
Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below.
Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner,
and delivered as follows:
1. Bid Date: Tuesday, March 2, 2021
2. Bid Time: 2:00 p.m., local time.
3. Location: Vera Water and Power – Board Room on the lower floor.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, Bids will be thereafter opened publicly via ‘Zoom’, ‘Go To Meeting’
or other as yet determined social media meeting format. All plan holders and interested parties
will be notified of details one week prior to bid opening.
BID SECURITY
Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No
bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to
reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
PREBID MEETING
Prebid Meeting(s): Due to Covid 19 restrictions, Prebid meeting times for all prospective bidders
shall be pre-arranged with the Architects Office before 5pm on Monday, February 1
st
. Meetings
will be scheduled as available on-the-hour at Vera Water and Power on Tuesday, February 2,
2021 between 9:00 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time. Prospective prime bidders are requested to attend.
No special arrangements will be made to provide access or guidance for Bidders who elect not to
