Sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Services Department of Spokane Public Schools at 2815 East
Garland Avenue, Spokane, WA, 99207, for the following Public Works project:
Bid No. 28-2122
Integrated Security System – Supplemental Installations 2022, until 2:00:00 p.m. PDT, Friday, June 10,
2022.
Base bids will be received until 2:00:00 p.m. and held until 3:00:00 p.m. Alternates and List of Subcontractors
will be received until 3:00:00 p.m. and will be opened and read at that time along with the base bids. Bids
received after the above times will not be considered.
Drawings, specifications and forms of contract documents may be obtained on or after Wednesday, June 1,
2022 at the Capital Projects Office of Spokane Public Schools, located at 2815 E. Garland Avenue, Spokane,
WA 99207, (509-354-7171). General Contractor Bidders may purchase drawings, specifications and forms of
contract documents at their own expense from Standard Digital Print Co., Inc., 265 W. Riverside, Spokane,
WA, 99201, (509) 315-2526. A deposit of $100 will be required per set (only one (1) set of documents per
contractor). The deposit will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders on receipt of plans and specifications for
a period of ten calendar days after opening of bids, provided the documents are complete and in clean and
usable condition.

Individuals with disabilities who may need special accommodations to participate in the public bid opening
meeting should contact Barb Carson, Purchasing Services, at (509) 354-7186 no later than three days before
the scheduled date of the meeting so that arrangements for the modifications can be made.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond with a State Licensed
Surety, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid, made payable to Spokane Public
Schools. This surety shall be forfeited in the event of failure by the successful bidder to sign a contract or to
furnish the necessary one hundred (100%) percent Performance and Payment Bond. The owner reserves the
right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
